BREADED STEAK
1 lb. round steak, sirloin or filet mignon 1 onion, chopped 1/2 sour orange, juice of 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup ground cracker meal Olive oil Cut the meat into 6 thin steaks. Clean and pound well.
Cover with onion, orange juice, garlic, and pepper. Cover well and marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
When ready to cook the steaks, beat the eggs with the salt. Pour the cracker meal on a place.
Drain the steaks and dip twice in beaten egg and crushed crackers.
Fry in hot oil (375F) until golden.
Serve over white rice and with a fried egg on top.
