Creamy Rice Pudding
4 C milk 1 egg, well beaten 1 (4 serving size) vanilla pudding(not instant) 1 C dry minute rice 1/4 C rasins(optional) 1/4 t cinnamon 1/8 t nutmeg
Gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in a saucepan. Add rice and rasins. Stir over medium heat unitl mixture just comes to a boil. Pour into serving bowl. Serve warm or cold sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg. Note: for creamier pudding cover surface of pudding with plastic wrap while cooling.
