MICROWAVE PICKLES
1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup vinegar 1 tsp allspice 1 tsp salt
Put all ingredients in a microwave bowl. Cook on high uncovered for 4 minutes.
Stir then cook 3-4 minutes longer or until cucumber and onion are crisp.
Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Store in refrigerator.
