This is from the Chips, Dips and Salsas cookbook.

Fresh Pantry Salsa

If you don't have hot-style tomato sauce, use regular tomato sauce and add 1 teaspoon hot sauce.

1 (7 ounce) can Mexican hot-style tomato sauce such as El Pato
1 (15 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
1/2 cup diced red onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips or as a table condiment. Makes about 3 cups.
