Found this in Susan Branch's Autumn book while looking for something else...thought the pomegranate addition was interesting...Micha HAPPY RICE1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice (I'd use brown rice) 1/2 cup sliced almonds 1/3 cup golden raisins seeds from 1 large pomegranate (optional) Cook rice according to pkg. instructions. When rice is done, stir in all additional ingredients.
