Master Mix
Developed by Purdue University

5 lb flour
2 1/2 c. powdered milk
3/4 c. double acting baking powder
3. T salt
2 T cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
2 pounds Crisco
Cut dry ingredients together, then cut in shortening until mix looks like cornmeal. Store at room temperature in large plastic container(s) that seal well.

This can be used successfully in any recipe calling for Bisquick using water in place of the milk.
