PIZZA DOUGH

1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
2 teaspoons dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
2 1/2 to 3 cups flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon powdered milk
1 teaspoon salt

In an electric mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water.

Add flour, oil, powdered milk, and salt. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. It should shape into a mass that cleans the sides of the bowl.

Place dough in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and put aside to rise until doubled in bulk.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Cut dough into 2 equal pieces. Roll out each piece, on a floured surface, with a floured rolling pin into circles to fit a 12-inch pizza pan.

Brush with a bit of olive oil. Spread pizza or spaghetti sauce lightly over the surface. Add other toppings if desired. Sprinkle top with grated cheese.

Bake 15 minutes.
