CHOCOLATE SANDWICH COOKIES

2 boxes devil's food cake mix (or any chocolate cake mix)
4 eggs
2/3 cup oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix together dry cake mix, eggs, and oil. Form into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, flatten slightly.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.

FOR THE FILLING:
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 to 4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla*

Beat together and fill cooled cookies.
