MACARONI PIE Serves: 9 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 can (28 fl oz / 798 mL) Primo Ground Tomatoes 2 Tbsp. Primo Tomato Paste 1 tsp. dried oregano 2 1/4 cups Primo Elbows 1/3 cup each: butter and flour 4 cups milk 1 bay leaf 3 eggs 1 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese Brown ground beef and garlic in large frypan over medium heat. Stir in ground tomatoes, tomato paste and oregano. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water. Set aside. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add flour, cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Whisk in milk. Add bay leaf, reduce heat to low and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and discard bay leaf. Whisk eggs in medium size bowl. Slowly add hot sauce to eggs, whisking constantly. Layer half the pasta, sauce and cheese in a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Add all of the meat mixture, and another layer pasta, sauce and cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
