CHEESE SAUSAGE BISCUITS

1 lb mild bulk pork sausage
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 (10 1/2 oz) can condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1/2 cup water
3 cups biscuit mix

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly greased baking sheets.

Crumble sausage into a large skillet; add onion and cook over medium heat until sausage is browned. Drain well on paper towels.

Combine drained sausage with remaining ingredients, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart prepared baking sheets.

Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned

Makes 4 dozen
