PASSOVER LASAGNA(DAIRY)
4 eggs
1 1/2 pounds cottage cheese
clove garlic minced or 1/2-teaspoon garlic powder
9 whole matzos
milk as needed
1/2 to 1 pound mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 jar tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
oregano to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a bowl, combine the eggs, cottage cheese, salt, pepper, garlic and oregano. Wet matzos in the milk.
Pour a little tomato sauce into the bottom of a casserole or lasagna pan layer ingredients as follows: matzos, cheese mixture. tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese. Continue layering until you have finished all the ingredients. End with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes. Let the lasagna rest for 5 to 10 minutes belore cutting.
