PEACH TRIFLE1 package yellow or white cake mix
1 tablespoon brandy or rum flavoring
2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
1 (3-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 cup chilled heavy (whipping) cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
Bake cake according to package directions. Cool.
Cut cooled cake into cubes and place in trifle bowl or a deep serving dish. Sprinkle brandy or flavoring over cubes. Spoon peaches over cake.
Prepare pudding. Let set 3 minutes and pour over peaches.
Beat cream with sugar. Spoon over trifle. Sprinkle with almonds.
