KRUMMEL KUCHEN (COFFEE CAKE)

2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
cinnamon
nut meats, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Butter a 9-inch coffee cake pan.

Sift dry ingredients together; work in butter. Reserve 1 cup mixture.

To remaining mixture, add combined eggs and milk; beat well. Pour into prepared pan. Cover with reserved mixture; sprinkle on cinnamon and nut meats.

Bake at 350 degrees to 375 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
