LEMON CHESS PIE
2 cups sugar 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine 6 eggs 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 1 heaping tbsp cornmeal 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry for 1-crust pie
Cream sugar and margarine. Beat in eggs, lemon juice, and cornmeal. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 400 degrees F 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and continue baking 30 minutes or until done and lightly browned.
