SWISSCAMOLE BURGERS
FOR THE BURGERS: 1 lb lean ground beef 1 1/2 tsp salt, divided 1/4 tsp pepper FOR THE FILLING: 2 ripe avocados, mashed 1/3 cup mayonnaise 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 tbsp grated onion 1 tbsp lemon juice salt (to taste) 4 slices Swiss cheese 4 hamburger buns (to serve)
Combine meat, salt and pepper. Make 8 small patties; set aside.
Mix together avocados, mayonnaise, bacon, onion, lemon juice, and salt
Place a slice of cheese on 4 of the patties and top with avocado mixture. Top with plain patties pressing edges to seal.
Cook as desired.
Serve on buns.
