TASTY APRICOT BARBEQUE SAUCE

1 (10 1/2 oz) can condensed tomato soup
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 jar apricot preserves (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup bottled Italian dressing
1 tbsp dried onion flakes (or 3 tbsp finely chopped fresh onion)
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Place all the ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the preserves melt and the mixture is heated through, about 5 minutes.

Use as a dipping sauce for barbequed foods or add some of this sauce to your grilled items during the last 5 minutes of cooking, pouring any extra over the top before serving.
