TEXAS BARBECUE SAUCE

1 cup ketchup
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 tbsp peanut oil
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp celery salt

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and red wine vinegar. Add garlic. Bring to a boil.

Add peanut oil and stir. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Cool slightly.

Add chili powder and celery salt. Let stand for a few minutes.

Good to perk up any meat or chicken dish.

Makes 4 servings
