ROYAL GRANOLA2 cups shredded (unsweetened) coconut
7 cups rolled oats
1 cup sesame seeds
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup cashews
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup carob powder
1 cup sliced dates
4 cups honey
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup oil
1 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Oil a shallow baking pan.
In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients and dry fruit except for the raisins; set aside.
In a small bowl combine the honey, vanilla and oil. Pour over the dry mixture. Spread no more than 1/2 inch thick in prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes.
Add the raisins and cool.
Makes about 20 cups
