TURKEY BURGERS WITH HOISIN SAUCE1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
4 1/2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 3/4 pound ground turkey
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
1 large garlic clove, minced
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Stir soy sauce into 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce. Set sauce aside.
With a fork, mix ground turkey in a large bowl with remaining hoisin, ginger, garlic, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper. Form into 4 burgers 3/4-inch thick. Press both sides into crumbs.
Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over low heat. Add burgers. Cook, turning once, until browned and just cooked through, about 15 minutes.
Serve hot, with sauce on top.
