This is for the grown-ups, because the coffee flavor comes through. They're intense, so I cut them small. MOCHA CHIP BARS2 1/2 cups sifted flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tbsp instant coffee powder 1 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Beat together butter, sugar, vanilla, and instant coffee powder. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Press into prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cut into bars or triangles while still warm.
