This is another recipe I probably picked up on TRL. I made some slight changes to adapt it to my family's tastes. Nice crunch. We pretend it's a healthy snack, since the cereals are fortified.

MICROWAVE KRISPY KRUNCH BARS
(with changes)

3/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp. butter
pinch salt
3 cups Cornflakes
3 cups Rice Krispies

Microwave corn syrup, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and salt for 5 minutes on HIGH or until mixture is bubbling and sugar is completely dissolved.

Combine the Cornflakes and Rice Krispies and pour over the peanut mixture. Mix until evenly coated.

Pour into a greased 13x9-inch pan. Cut into squares. Store in airtight container. Serve at room temperature.
