WHIPPED CREAM WITH VARIATIONS1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Attach pro whisk to mixer. Place cream in medium bowl. Beat on Speed 7 about 30 seconds, or until soft peaks form. Continuing on Speed 7, gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat about 30 seconds, or until stiff.
VARIATIONS:
AMARETTO WHIPPED CREAM:Substitute 2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur for the vanilla.
CAPPUCCINO WHIPPED CREAM:Add 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules or crystals to cream before whipping. Increase powdered sugar to 1/4 cup.
SPICED WHIPPED CREAM:Add 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1⁄8 teaspoon nutmeg with powdered sugar.
Makes 16 servings (2 tablespoons per serving).
