HALLOWEEN HAUNTED HOUSE

"Empty milk cartons are the secret to making this rickety house a spooky success."

SUPPLIES:
2 empty 1-quart milk cartons rinsed and dried
1 (13 x 11-inch) cake board, covered or large tray
16 oz container chocolate fudge frosting
DECORATIONS:
pretzel sticks, nuts, fudge-coated graham crackers, black licorice twists, black jelly beans, sugar wafers, candy corn, dried papaya, rice crackers, and other assorted candies

Tape each milk carton closed at top. Tape milk cartons together to make house; wrap with foil. Attach securely to covered cake board with tape.

Frost cartons with chocolate frosting; decorate using frosting to attach decorations:

- The roof is covered with rice crackers. Upside down candy corns are placed just below the roof. The chimney is made of something black.

- The graham cracker cookies are placed crosswise for windows using the pretzel sticks to mark the panes. Each end of the lower windows has shutters make of sugar wafer strips. The door is a graham cracker cookie attached with something orange.

- Dried papaya surrounds the base of the house with a pumpkin candy by the door. There is a curved sidewalk to the door made of black and orange jelly beans.
