SAUSAGE AND HERB DRESSING
2 tablespoons butter 6 ounces link pork sausage, chopped 2 cups chopped onion 1 cup chopped celery 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 (14.5 ounces) can chicken broth 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning 1 teaspoon ground sage 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 loaf (1 pound) French bread, cubed 3/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned.
Add onion, celery and garlic; cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in chicken broth, parsley, poultry seasoning, sage, and black pepper.
Remove from heat. Stir in bread cubes and green onion. Spoon into 9x13-inch greased baking dish.
Bake, covered, for 30 minutes; remove cover and bake 5 minutes longer.
