BARBECUE WINGS CHARLOTTE-STYLE24 chicken wings 2 cups apple cider vinegar 3/4 cup tomato paste 1/4 cup ketchup 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon peanut oil 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon salt Put chicken wings in medium pot. Add the other ingredients and bring the liquid to a boil over medium-high heat. Immediately reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the wings until just cooked through, about 25 minutes. Let wings rest in pot with sauce overnight in refrigerator or in an ice-filled cooler. Grill wings over medium-high heat until nicely browned, about 8-10 minutes.
