PIZZA ROLL1 (1 lb) loaf frozen bread dough
1/2 cup canned pizza sauce
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 to 3 oz. sliced pepperoni
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg white, lightly beaten
Thaw bread dough using package directions. Let rise using package directions.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Pat dough into a rectangle on a greased baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce lengthwise down the center in a 3-inch-wide strip. Arrange green pepper, mushrooms and pepperoni over the sauce. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Fold over the long sides of the rectangle to enclose the filling, pinching edges to seal. Turn roll seam-side down and tuck under the open edges, pinching to seal. Brush lightly with egg white.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden. Cool slightly. Cut into slices and serve warm.
