PINEAPPLE BUTTERSCOTCH SQUARES
2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup margarine, room temperature 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 (20 oz) can Dole crushed pineapple, well drained 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 (6 oz) pkg butterscotch chips (1 cup) 1 cup toasted nuts, chopped powdered sugar (optional garnish)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in small bowl; set aside.
Beat together margarine, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in large bowl until creamy. Add pineapple, eggs, and vanilla; beat until blended. Stir in flour mixture, butterscotch chips, and nuts until blended. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Dust cooled cake with powdered sugar, if desired. Cut into squares.
