MINUTE STEAKS PARMESAN 1 egg white, slightly beaten 2 teaspoon water 1 dash pepper 1/2 cup finely crushed crackers 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 4 cube (minute) steaks (about 4 oz. each) 2 tablespoons margarine 1 cup pizza sauce (or more, if desired)
In shallow bowl, combine egg white, water, and pepper. Set aside.
On a plate, combine cracker crumbs and cheese.
Dip each cube steak into the egg mixture, then the cracker/cheese mixture.
In a large skillet, melt margarine; brown steaks on both sides.
Add pizza sauce and simmer 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
VARIATION: If desired, the breaded steaks may be fully cooked without sauce and heated sauce served on the side.
