GREEN BEANS WITH TOMATOES3 tablespoons oil 1 onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 (20 ounce) can crushed tomatoes 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans, cooked 1 pinch salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon oregano 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Heat oil in a skillet. Brown onion and garlic. Add tomatoes, green beans, salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer slowly for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
