EASY SHRIMP CREOLE
1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper 1 pound shrimp, cooked 4 cups cooked rice (for serving)
Saute onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in vegetable oil until tender.
Stir in tomato sauce, salt, pepper and chili pepper; simmer for 15 minutes.
Add shrimp and heat thoroughly. Serve over hot rice.
