VANILLA SHRIMP
1/4 cup dry white wine 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. minced onion 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 tbsp butter 1/2 cup chicken broth 1 jar Alfredo sauce 1 lb. prepared angel hair pasta (for serving)
Combine wine, vanilla extract, minced onion, seasoned pepper, and garlic powder in a plastic bag or glass dish. Add shrimp and marinade for 1 hour.
Reserve marinade. Saute shrimp in butter until pink. Remove shrimp from skillet.
Add reserved marinade and chicken broth to skillet. Boil for 10 minutes on low to medium heat stirring occasionally.
Heat Alfredo sauce in a separate pan.
Return shrimp to skillet and heat through.
Serve Alfredo sauce and shrimp over cooked angel hair pasta. |
