Yummy Sweet Appetizers
Serving Size : 24 each
8 white bread slices -- (or more, as needed)
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg yolks
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 lb unsalted butter -- melted
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 pint sour cream
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
Remove crust and roll bread thin. Blend together cream cheese, vanilla, egg yolk, and sugar. Spread mixture on bread and roll bread into a log. Dip the log into butter and roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Cut each log into 3 pieces and place on a cookie sheet. At this point you can freeze the logs. When you want to serve them, thaw for 10 minutes before baking.
Bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes.
Serve with sour cream for dipping.
