3 cups shredded green cabbage 1 cup shredded red cabbage 4 tablespoons grated carrot 3/4 cup mayonnaise -- (3/4 to 1) 1/3 cup sour cream -- (1/3 to 1/2) 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 3 tablespoons white or cider vinegar 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic 1 Pinch salt 1/2 teaspoon ground white or black pepper
Combine the cabbages and carrot in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, vinegar and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; toss thoroughly. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 3 hours. Toss well before serving. |
