Grandma's Chicken Soup
1 3 lb. fryer chicken, cut up 1 bunch parsley 4 carrots, peeled and cut in half 2 stalks celery, cut into 2 inch pieces 2 bay leafs 2 envelopes chicken soup base (I use Wylers)
Cover chicken with water. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer for about 1 1/2 hours. Goes great with egg noodles! |
