ONION SQUARES
4 med. onions, finely chopped 3 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. sour cream 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. caraway seeds (optional) 3 eggs 3 slices bacon, diced, cooked crisp 1 tube (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls
Cook chopped onions in melted butter until soft, cool.
Blend sour cream with flour, salt and caraway seeds. Beat eggs and add. Blend in cooked bacon and onions.
Separate crescent roll dough into four squares. Pat into 9 inch square pan. Cover with onion filling.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes, or until filling is set and golden.
Cut into squares and serve warm as appetizer or bread.
