STRAWBERRY BAVARIAN PIE
1 (3 oz.) package Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup boiling water 1/4 cup cold water 1 cup strawberries, sliced 1 envelope Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix* 1 baked (9-inch) pie shell, cooled
Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Add cold water. Chill until thickened.
Add strawberries. Chill until very thick.
Beat with electric mixer or rotary beater until fluffy and light in color - about 3 minutes.
Prepare Dream Whip as directed on package; blend 1 cup into gelatin. Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm - 4 hours or more.
Top the pie with remaining prepared Dream Whip and additional strawberries, if desired.
*Each envelope of Dream Whip, prepared as directed on package, makes about 2 cups of whipped topping.
