ENIGMA SAUCE FROM THE DEEP SOUTH OF GEORGIA"From the deep South of Georgia, where folks combine mustard and ketchup in their sauce."
1/3 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup ketchup
1 cup mustard
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Saute the onion in butter.
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
