BERRY DELICIOUS BREAD

FOR THE BREAD:
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chopped nuts
FOR THE GLAZE:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 to 2 drops red food coloring (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour bottom only of 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In large bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, oil and eggs; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; stir just until dry particles are moistened. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center co41 out clean. Cool upright in pan 15 minutes; loosen edges and remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack.

In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; mix until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled loaf. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.

Makes 1 loaf
