Lightly grease large cookie sheet with shortening or spray with cooking spray. Stir together Bisquick mix, water, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 2 tablespoons of the cheese in medium bowl until soft dough forms. Place dough on surface sprinkled with Bisquick mix; roll to coat. Roll into 10x8-inch rectangle. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; press in gently. Cut crosswise into 12 strips. Gently twist each strip.* Place 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with additional pepper Bake 10 to 12 minutes until light golden brown. Serve warm. *Don’t be afraid of the dough when pulling and twisting. Each breadstick will be slightly different in shape and length, but try to keep them as close to the same size as possible so they'll bake evenly. VARIATION: If you like spicy food, try adding a touch of ground red pepper (cayenne) to these cheesy breadsticks. You’ll need only about 1/8 teaspoon, unless you really want to spice it up. Sprinkle it on with the Parmesan cheese. Makes 12 breadsticks From: Recipelink.com Source: Recipe booklet: Soup, Stew, and Chili, Betty Crocker Recipe Magazine #205, February 2004
