COUNTRY FRIED CORN
4 to 5 ears of corn 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings or butter 2 Tbsp. water 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt
Holding ears upright, cut kernels from 4 to 5 ears of corn.
In medium skillet heat bacon drippings or butter. Add corn kernels, water, sugar, and salt. Fry over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
