BUTTERMILK LIME POPS

1/4 cup lime juice
1 tbsp. lime zest (just the grated outside of the rind of the lime, not the white part), optional
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups buttermilk

Combine lime juice, lime zest and sugar together. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in the buttermilk.

Divide mixture among eight (4-ounce) freezer pop molds. Place them into the freezer for at least 4-5 hours, or until completely frozen.

Freezer pops will last for up to 1 month in the freezer.

Makes 8 (2-ounce) freezer pops
