SAUERKRAUT AGNES2 or 3 strips bacon
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 can sauerkraut
1 (16 ounce) package frankfurters
Fry bacon until crisp. Remove and drain.
Saute onion in a very small amount of the bacon fat.
Wash kraut and drain. Add kraut and tomatoes to onions, then cover and simmer 30 minutes until wieners are plumped.
