Thank you, Debbie, for this wonderful recipe. I just won Grand Champion Cake in the open class division of our county fair with this recipe! I did have to change the frosting to buttercream (fair rules - no cream cheese) and I did make the cake in 2-9" cake pans instead of a 9x13" pan.
