Hamburger Cupcakes

1 pound hamburger
1 can mushroom soup
1 cup chopped onions
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
salt
pepper
seasonings to taste
16 to 18 slices buttered bread

Combine all ingredients except bread and mix well. Trim crusts off buttered bread slices. Place slices, buttered side down, in muffin tins and shape in. Fill with meat mixture (full). Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Freezes well and are good cold.
