1 (28 oz.) can sauerkraut 1 each red and green pepper, diced small 1 cup finely diced celery onion, finely chopped or green onions, sliced thin 2 carrots, shredded
JUICE Warm together to melt sugar: 2/3 cup vinegar 1/3 cup water 1 cup sugar Drain sauerkraut WELL (squeeze out all liquid). Combine juice and veggies in large bowl. Stir well to mix - let sit covered for 1 hour. Pack tightly in glass jars. Keep well 3-4 weeks in fridge. |
