1 cup raw grits 4 cups boiling water 1 tsp salt 4 eggs 1 cup milk 1 lb sausage, sauteed, drained 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted 1 cup shredded cheese
Add 1 cup raw grits to 4 cups boiling water and 1 tsp salt. Let cool.
Beat 4 eggs with 1 cup milk; stir into grits mixture with the sausage, Jiffy mix, and butter.
Put in 13x9-inch casserole. Cover all with cheese. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes. |
