Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powders
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup raisins or nuts
1 egg
3 tbsp, milk

Sift flour, baking powders salt and cinnamon Cream shortening and sugar together until smooth. Add egg and beat until blended Stir in oatmeal, raisins, nuts and milk. Mix well Add flour mixture Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet Bake about 2 minutes in a 375 degree oven
