Hard Candy

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1/2 cup water
Flavoring and coloring of your choice
Boil the sugar, syrup, and water to 300 Degrees. Immediately stir in 1 teaspoon oil and drops of coloring. Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Cool slightly. with a pizza cutter score the candy as it cools enough to cut, but before it hardens. Let finish cooling till hard. Break into pieces. Dust with powdered sugar.

Cinnamon oil & red color
Anise oil & blue color
Spearmint oil & green color
Wintergreen oil & green color
Peppermint oil & red or green color
