Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms rec.food.recipes/JANIC412
30-40 large mushrooms, stems removed and save for another dish 1/2 cup melted butter 1 pound bulk sausage, mild or hot, cooked 1/2 cup toasted bread crumbs 1/2 cup pizza of spaghetti sauce 1 egg, beaten Mozzarella cheese
Dip each mushroom cap into melted butter. Mix all ingredients except the mushrooms and blend well. Stuff each mushroom cap and place on a baking sheet. Top each mushroom with a slice of cheese. Drizzle remaining butter over the mushrooms. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
