Cream together: 2/3 cup Crisco 1 2/3 cups sugar
Beat in: 3 whole eggs set aside
Mix separately: 2/3 cup cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/3 cups cold water set aside
And mix separately in another bowl: 2 cups sifted flour 1/3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/4 tsp. soda Add alternately (cocoa mixture and flour mixture) to the egg mixture.
Pour in greased 9/13 pan and bake 30-35 minutes at 350.
